Holy Week: Preparing for Our Next Place of Ministry

Tuesday, Day 36: Wisdom and Strategy

Scripture:
Luke 21:15 – “For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.”

Devotional:
As Jesus taught in the temple during Holy Week, His words carried undeniable authority. Religious leaders questioned Him, challenged Him, and attempted to trap Him, yet they could not refute His wisdom. Jesus modeled something powerful for us: God’s work is not carried out by emotion alone, but by divine wisdom guided by purpose and truth.

As we prepare for our next place of ministry, we are reminded that faith and strategy are not opposites—they work together. Prayer invites God’s presence, and wisdom directs our steps. God is deeply interested not only in what we believe for, but how we prepare for it. He gives insight for planning, clarity for decision-making, and discernment to avoid distractions that could delay or derail the vision.

This is a season to pause and ask the Lord for wisdom in practical areas: finances, timing, location, partnerships, and outreach. Every choice we make now becomes part of the foundation for what God will build later. Scripture tells us that unless the Lord builds the house, those who labor do so in vain. When God provides the wisdom, He also ensures sustainability, fruitfulness, and long-term impact.

Wisdom also brings peace. It quiets anxious thoughts and replaces uncertainty with confidence in God’s direction. Even when obstacles arise, God’s wisdom gives us the words, insight, and strategy to move forward without fear. We are not guessing our way into the next chapter—we are being led.

Take time today to listen. Write down what God places on your heart. Invite Him into every detail, trusting that He knows the people we will reach, the doors that will open, and the resources required. When we seek Him first, He generously gives wisdom without reproach.

Encouragement:
God equips us with divine wisdom when we seek Him wholeheartedly. No challenge is too complex when His insight guides our steps.

Prayer:
Lord, grant us wisdom and clarity as we prepare for our next ministry location. Align our plans with Your will. Give us discernment in every decision and help us execute with excellence, faith, and humility.

Declaration:
I declare that God’s wisdom guides every decision for our ministry. We are led by His insight, established by His truth, and no obstacle can stand against His plan.
