Day 4 of 50 – You Carry Resurrection Power
Scripture (NKJV):
Romans 8:11
“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”
Devotional Thought:
The same power that rolled the stone away, that defeated death, that raised Jesus from the grave—lives in you. This is not symbolic power. It is not distant or reserved for heaven. It is present, active, and alive within you right now through the Holy Spirit.
When you feel weak, tired, or overwhelmed, remember this truth: you are not operating in your own strength. Resurrection power breathes life into what feels lifeless. It restores hope where discouragement has settled. It renews your mind, strengthens your body, and revives your spirit.
Too often, we live beneath what God has placed within us. We settle for survival when we’ve been given power to overcome. The same Spirit that raised Christ is working in you—to heal, to restore, to empower, and to transform.
Whatever feels “dead” in your life today—dreams, joy, peace, direction—God is able to breathe life back into it. You don’t have to strive to create that power. You simply need to walk in it, believe it, and yield to it.
You are not powerless.
You are not alone.
You carry resurrection power.
Journal Prompt:
What areas of my life feel weak, drained, or lifeless right now? How can I intentionally invite the Holy Spirit to bring resurrection power into those areas today?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for the incredible gift of Your Spirit living within me. I believe that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is alive in me. Where I feel weak, be my strength. Where I feel discouraged, breathe new life. Where things seem dead, bring resurrection.
Help me to walk in this truth daily—not relying on my own ability, but fully depending on Your power within me. Awaken my faith, renew my mind, and strengthen my body. Let my life reflect Your victory and Your life-giving power.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
