Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:7; Isaiah 55:8–9
Faith often asks us to walk without full visibility. 2 Corinthians 5:7 reminds us: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” Today, we focus on trusting God beyond what is visible—believing in His provision, His timing, and His wisdom, even when circumstances seem uncertain.
As a church seeking a ministry property, it’s tempting to focus on what we can see: contracts, finances, locations, and timelines. These are important, but they are not the ultimate measure of God’s plan. God asks us to trust Him even when the next steps are unclear, when the path is hidden, and when delays or obstacles appear.
Walking by faith requires spiritual discernment. It means hearing God’s voice through prayer, Scripture, and wise counsel rather than relying solely on human judgment or logic. Trust grows as we observe His faithfulness in the past and anticipate His goodness in the future. Every small confirmation, insight, or moment of peace is evidence that He is already working behind the scenes.
This is also a day to release anxiety about the “what ifs.” Fear often comes from trying to control outcomes based on what we can see. Trust, by contrast, leans into God’s invisible hand, believing that He is orchestrating events for our good and His glory. Trust allows us to move forward with courage, make decisions in faith, and stay united as a church body, confident that God’s provision will arrive in His perfect timing.
Reflection/Application:
Prayer:
Lord, help us to walk by faith and not by sight. Strengthen our trust in Your wisdom and timing. Remind us that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your plans are greater than what we can imagine. May we lean fully on You as we take each step toward the ministry property You have prepared. Amen.
