Scripture: Isaiah 41:10; 2 Timothy 1:7
Fear often speaks loudest when we are standing on the edge of obedience. As we fast and pray for a ministry property, fear may try to whisper questions: What if this doesn’t work? What if we don’t have enough? What if the timing is wrong? Yet Scripture reminds us that fear does not come from God. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Faith does not deny challenges—it chooses to trust God in the midst of them. Isaiah 41:10 offers comfort and courage: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.” God does not send us ahead alone. His presence goes with us into every meeting, decision, and moment of uncertainty. Faith grows when we intentionally shift our focus from what could go wrong to who God has promised to be.
Fear often attempts to control outcomes, while faith releases them. Fear says we must figure everything out before moving forward. Faith says God will reveal what we need when we need it. In this season, God is inviting us to trust Him not just with the destination, but with the journey itself. Each step of obedience builds spiritual confidence and deepens our dependence on Him.
Fasting helps expose fear and bring it into the light. When physical comfort is reduced, emotional and spiritual truths surface. Rather than resisting fear, we acknowledge it and place it before God. Faith rises when fear is surrendered. God replaces anxiety with peace, doubt with assurance, and hesitation with courage.
As a church, choosing faith over fear creates unity and spiritual momentum. When one person steps out in faith, it strengthens the faith of others. This collective trust invites God’s favor and aligns our hearts with His purposes. We are reminded that this ministry property is not about survival, but about stewardship—creating space for worship, discipleship, and Kingdom impact.
